Vehicle Description Located near EUGENE, OREGON.
While the Imperial was Chrysler's top-of-the-line offering, the halo car of the Imperial series in 1963 was the LeBaron Southampton Hardtop.
With elegant finishing details (including the LeBaron crest on the roof quarter panels that was subject to a federal jewelry excise tax!) and all of the convenience options one could want, this was the height of luxury, designed to compete with top-level Cadillacs and Lincolns.
Just 1,537 LeBarons were produced, making them rare in 1963, and even rarer today.
While the original owner is unknown, this car hailed from Illinois.
It appears to have received excellent care over the years.
No rust-out or body damage.
Excellent panel fit.
The paint appears to be the original factory-applied Ivory (code SS1) that presents beautifully today.
Smooth and glossy with a deep shine.

Following purchase by the current Oregon owner in 2019, the seats were re-upholstered and now present like-new.
The original door panels (including the geniune wood trim), dashboard, carpet and headliner, all in excellent condition, were retained.
All glass is excellent with no damage.
Factory air conditioning was modernized and updated with R-134 coolant last year.
Blows ice cold.
Power windows and seat work properly.
The space-age instrument panel is gorgeous.
All gauges work and register accurately.
The oval-styled steering wheel is excellent.

All lights work.
Clean, rust-free trunk and undercarriage.
PLEASE SEE PHOTOS WHICH WERE JUST TAKEN FOR THIS LISTING AND SHOW CURRENT CONDITION.

car easy to maneauver with the touch of a finger.
