Machine Maintenance Technician
Job DescriptionJob Description3D Plastics, Inc is a plastic injection molding company in Newberg, Oregon. We are a small, family run organization that runs 24-hours a day Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Summary:
Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs. Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. Performs routine maintenance on building systems. Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facility. Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance. Maintain and upkeep tools according to safety regulations, as well as the proper working order for machine operator. Perform equipment calibration and maintenance monitoring. Performs other related duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred, 3
years as a maintenance tech in manufacturing environment preferred, or combination of education and experience.ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
Knowledge of general Hydraulics and electrical preferred Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers. Proven ability to use hand tools and power tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Possess advanced understanding of tool construction and operation. Ability to maintain good communication and interpersonal skills.
